My first kiss wasn't anything that special. Sparks didn't fall out of the sky. The world didn't stop. It was just that. A kiss.
I've had 3 kisses (out of the 3 guys I've kissed. Haha), all of which created different "First Kisses" for me.
-His name was Sean, and he fell into my heart as quickly as he left. Kind of feels like a waste of a kiss to be honest. It was the summer before my sophomore year, and I wish I had the wisdom I have now to bestow on a younger me.....Anyway. It was raining that whole day. And we were outside on the track by Canyon View. He was throwing around he lacrosse ball, and I followed him, similarly to a sheepdog. He stopped suddenly. Gave me a hug, grabbed the back of my neck, and kissed me. (Granted there was more time in between those actions, but in my mind it felt like BAM BAM BAM!!!) I smiled the rest of the evening, only to become heart broken later that month. He used me. Just like expected.
-Cooper is next down the line. His kiss was different from Sean's. There was a little spark, but that was all it was. I had fallen "in love" with him that entire summer, and it was the first time I had seen him in 4 months. My dad dropped me off (Still didn't have my license) and he was waiting for me in Tyler's front yard. He gave me a massive I've-missed-you-so-much kind of hug. Then he laced his fingers in mine, and walked with me to the garage to go into Tyler's house. He stopped us. Looked me in the eyes. And kissed me. Tyler opened the door a couple of seconds later, laughed at us, as we laughed at ourselves, and we went inside. I turned pink. That was the first kiss that started to mean something to me. At the time, it would be a memory I would cling to for a short while. It was short and pleasant.
-Jesse is my most recent kiss. And so far (and maybe it's because we're together right now) it has meant the most, because it came about the right way for sure. I remember it crystal clear. (Mostly because I wrote it in my journal. Hahaha) We had been friends, then good friends, then flirty friends, then more than friends. In that order. Anyway.....We had gone to Zupas and had watched a movie at Sari's house that evening, and we were dropping him off at his house. (Driving arrangements were odd that day. Haha) I got out of the car to give him a hug. And that's basically what happened. He hugged me a little bit longer than usual, and then he pulled back, and kissed me. I totally wasn't ready for it either. Hahaha. I think my face kind of gave that one away. I was definitely surprised. But a good, fill your tummy full of butterflies, stop the world for a second, catch your breath, pinch yourself to see if it's real type of surprise kiss. This is the first kiss that magic happened for me. (Romance novel worthy. *Claps*) Hahahaha. Well, anyway. That's it.
